Terms and conditions


Any order implies acceptance of the prices and description of the products available for sale. Any dispute on this point will be settled within the framework of a possible exchange and the guarantees mentioned below.

Datcha undertakes to honour orders received on the website only within the limits of available stocks of products. If the product is not available, Datcha undertakes to inform the user.

The prices indicated on the website are in euros and include all taxes, including the VAT applicable on the day of the order. Any change in the VAT rate may be reflected in the price of the products.

The prices and promotional offers indicated on the website are valid in Metropolitan France and Corsica.

Rates and billing

Product prices do not include :

  • delivery and order preparation costs, which will be invoiced in addition to the sale price of the products (the delivery and order preparation costs are displayed on the Site and specified to the Customer at the time of ordering), subject to the exceptions displayed on the website.

Products are invoiced at the rate in force on the website at the time the Customer places the order.

Datcha reserves the right to modify its prices at any time, without prior notice, it being understood that the price displayed at the time of the order by the Customer will not be modified in any way.

Once you have placed your order, you will immediately receive an order confirmation number. We will also send you an e-mail containing this and all the details of your order.

Payment methods

We accept the following payment methods: Visa, MasterCard, American Express , Visa Electron, Maestro, and PayPal.

We invoice for items when they are dispatched. Orders paid via Paypal are invoiced instantly.

Your credit card will only be charged for the order. Your credit card details will not be used for any other purpose.

Payment problems

Any refusal of a payment method may be due to incorrect information, an expired card or insufficient funds. If you continue to experience difficulties in placing your order, please choose a new method of payment and contact your bank or credit card issuer. For further assistance, please contact us at info@datcha.paris.

Datcha will not be obliged to deliver the products ordered by the Customer if the Customer has not paid the full price.

When the order is debited, in the event of incomplete, irregular or non-existent payment for any reason whatsoever or in the event of any payment incident, Datcha reserves the right to suspend or cancel the delivery of orders in progress.

Postage and packing

Products ordered will be delivered to the address indicated by the user anywhere in the world.

Datcha reserves the right to choose the carrier and guarantees the correct delivery of the products. The transport risks are the responsibility of Datcha, from the moment the product leaves the warehouse.

Deadlines and prices are currently as follows and are subject to change.

Orders are processed within three working days of receipt. Delivery times begin on this date. Except in cases of force majeure, they will be, within the limits of available stocks, 72 hours for France and 4 to 8 working days for other countries, depending on the destination.

Delivery times may be longer during sales and/or promotions.

Deliveries are made in France by Mondial Relay, Chronoshop2shop, Colis Privé, La Poste (Colissimo suivi), FEDEX and UPS. Datcha does not deliver post boxes. The parcel is delivered to the recipient against signature.

If you are absent, a notice of pending delivery is left in the addressee’s letterbox. The customer has a period of time indicated by the carrier to collect it from the indicated collection point.

You can track your parcel at any time on the carrier’s website.

In the event of a delay of less than 30 days, Datcha cannot be held responsible for any reason whatsoever. Consequently, no request for compensation, of any nature whatsoever, can be claimed by the user from datcha.

Right of withdrawal, return or exchange

The user’s request for an exchange must be made within fourteen working days from the date of receipt or collection of the parcel. Products must be returned by post in perfect condition, accompanied by the invoice, by first contacting us by email at info@datcha.paris.

Failure to collect a parcel does not constitute a request for retraction and will not give rise to any reimbursement.

For foreign countries, the customer must specify to the customs authorities that the goods are being “returned for non-conformity”. Items on sale or discontinued may exceptionally be exchanged while stocks last.

It is the user’s responsibility to retain all proof and date of this return. The cost of returning the goods shall be borne by the customer.

In the case of an exchange, the customer will not be charged the new delivery costs.

Refunds will be made within 10 working days of receipt of the parcel.

All items are subject to a contractual guarantee, which does not preclude the legal guarantee provided by articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code. The user also benefits from a guarantee allowing him to return defective items in accordance with articles L 211-4 et seq. of the French Consumer Code. The user is therefore invited to refer to these texts if he/she wishes to have more details on these legal guarantees.

In all cases, the online provision of the credit card number and the final validation of the order shall constitute proof of the completeness of the said order in accordance with the provisions of the Law of 13 March 2000 and shall constitute payment of the sums incurred by the entry of the items appearing on the order form.

This validation constitutes signature and express acceptance of all operations carried out on the site. However, in the event of fraudulent use of the credit card, the customer is invited, as soon as this use is noticed, to contact Datcha by sending an e-mail to info@datcha.paris.

Datcha has an obligation of result for all stages of the order taking process as well as for the stages subsequent to the conclusion of the contract.


Thus Datcha undertakes to describe the products sold on the Datcha website as accurately as possible. On the other hand, Datcha cannot be held responsible if the non-execution of its obligations is attributable either to the unforeseeable and insurmountable act of a third party to the contract or to a case of force majeure as defined by French Jurisprudence. Similarly, datcha cannot be held responsible for any inconvenience or damage inherent in the use of the Internet network, in particular a break in service, external intrusion or the presence of a computer virus.

Should any of the clauses of this contract be rendered null and void by a change in legislation or regulations or by a court ruling, this shall in no way affect the validity of and compliance with these general terms and conditions of sale.

The present conditions apply for the entire duration of the online services offered by Datcha.

Order forms and invoices are archived on a reliable and durable medium in such a way as to correspond to a true and durable copy in accordance with article 1348 of the French Civil Code.

These terms and conditions are governed by French law. The place of jurisdiction in the event of a dispute shall be the domicile of the defendant or, at the plaintiff’s option, the actual place of delivery of the product.
