After spending hours in the kitchen, you’re in the mood for a simple, quick and delicious recipe. Here’s a recipe for a chocolate fondant to be made in a mug and baked in the microwave. 5 minutes on the clock!


  • 40 g dark chocolate

  • 30 g soft butter

  • 1 teaspoon praline (optional, but delicious)

  • 1 egg

  • 25 g caster sugar

  • 20 g flour

In a mug, melt the butter and chopped chocolate for 30 seconds in the microwave on full power. Add egg, sugar, flour and praline if using. Mix well to obtain a homogeneous consistency. The cup should not be more than 3/4 full. Microwave at full power for 40-50 seconds. Allow to cool slightly before serving!
